SAVE THE DATE

This is happening and you should be a part of it. This one-of-a-kind event will pull together a lineup of impressive and original photographic and digital media works from/of Chattanooga -area aggressive inline skaters and skate boarders.

Headlining this event will be a selection of large mural digital photographs from "We Skate Hardcore", an award-winning photo-documentary book on a group of Latino inline skaters from Brooklyn, NY by Vincent Cianni. This exhibit has travelled in the United States and Europe including the Center For Documentary Studies in Durham, North Carolina, where it is presently being shown through August 27th.

Original paintings from Marcus Evans and Dang Industries will also be shown.

If you are interested in submitting your photographic amd video material to be shown at the film fest please leave your inquiry here. The event will include public screenings of completed digital video projects and photographic exhibits of and by skaters. . If you are not a skater but are a digital media artist /filmmaker interested in participating please check out the "Micro Movie" event info in the LINKS section. The organizers are producing this event as a benefit for skater/filmmaker Asher Mendonsa and his family. All related entry fees and ticket prices are nominal and are being gathered as a fundraiser to go directly to the family. THANKS!

Please leave your inquiry and watch this blog for developments. Good things are coming together to pull this off. We appreciate your interest and participation.

Be sure to checkout the link to the micro-movie competition. This could be a world premiere! I think we'll call it a CAMjam!
